Join us for our next sermon series, Gauntlet: Adversity and God’s Glory, starting on June 11-12 at the Kettering campus and June 19 at the Xenia campus.
- Are you facing adversity?
- Are there truths that you are not believing?
- Do you see God’s glory in all circumstances?
If any of those questions apply to you, you are not alone. We inhabit one kingdom while being citizens of another. Followers of Jesus are not immune to pain and suffering but that does not mean that the pain and suffering have the last word.
It’s with that sentiment that we begin a sermon series called “Gauntlet.” In this series, we will address particular struggles and how the goodness of God meets those struggles and redeems them. For the better part of this summer, we will hear God’s heart pertaining to issues such as sexual abuse, parenting, chronic pain, marital strife, depression, and more. We know that these issues can be deeply sensitive for many people so please know that we will post online the subject matters for the entire series before it begins.
Pray for this series and think about inviting someone you know who has experienced these hardships. Remember, on this side of heaven a journey through a gauntlet is inevitable but there is One who went through the deepest darkness to provide the brightest light.
