| Inside Out Cluster Inside Out Cluster “multiplied” from Diamond Cluster in September 2001. As its name suggests, it has a very specific focus: to reach out to those on the very edges of the church and provide an environment where they feel comfortable and able to ask questions. As a Cluster it welcomes all ages, from tiny babies, through children and young adults, sudenta and young families, to retired people. Vision Our goal is to be a unified Christ-centred family of God working together as one body, serving one another in love. To be lights reaching out to the community of Crookes. Content In the autumn/winter term of 2001 we met exclusively as a Cluster in order to build our vision and get to know one another better. As well as meeting on a Wednesday, we are committed to providing activities every 2nd Sunday which are accessible to all in the Cluster. We have ventured out to walk and picnic in Castleton, gone ten pin bowling, and visited Chatsworth, amongst other activities. Values We also put a special emphasis on events which are welcoming for those unused to a church environment. Every month we have a men’s and a women’s social, which often involve eating out, trips to the pub or cinema, and socialising. These are times for us to build relationships and to get to know those in the community around us better. We are also committed to hosting special events to which those “on the outside” can be invited, such as a Bonfire Party.
