About Awkward Saints

This publication exists to examine patterns of psychological harm within Christian institutions. We believe that soberly investigating these dynamics is not an act of bitterness, but a necessary act of faith and a deep-seated desire for the Church's healing.

Our work is for anyone who recognizes that the Church's beauty and its capacity for harm can coexist—and who refuses to accept that brokenness is the final word.

This is a home for those Awkward Saints who feel compelled to contend for what the Church is called to be.
